Host Of The Savvy Investor Show, Michael Canet, Says Rich Retirees Don’t Necessarily Know How To Invest

Michael Canet is a financial planner, estate planning attorney and host of The Savvy Investor TV and Radio Show, where he and Savvy Investor guests help listeners create, grow, and preserve their wealth. In this blog post, Canet cites a recent study by the U.S. Trust that reveals what high net worth investors are doing – and not doing – with their money.

Glen Burnie, MD – July 29, 2013 – Estate planning attorney and host of The Savvy Investor TV and radio show, Michael Canet, recently published a blog post on The Savvy Investor website on the investment decisions of wealthy respondents to the U.S. Trust survey completed in 2013. In “High Net Worth Retirees Don’t Necessarily Know What They’re Doing” Canet explores the investment choices of high-income earners – which aren’t all good.

Canet writes, “Here’s a fact many of you probably won’t want to hear: Just because you’re good at making money, doesn’t necessarily mean you know the best ways to keep it. At least, that is one of the findings in the recent U.S. Trust 2013 Insights on Wealth and Worth survey. It turns out that many of the 711 high net worth adults surveyed were leaving money on the table, or failing to plan adequately for their retirements and assets.”
